Our New Manhattan Facility

American Fertility Services, P.C., is extremely pleased to announce the opening of its spacious new state-of-the-art facility, conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan at 115 E. 57th Street, Suite 500, between Park and Lexington Avenues. We moved in on March 1, 2004, and are extremely happy with the end result of an enormous effort to create the finest possible private fertility treatment facility. The 9,000-square-foot office encircles the atrium of the Galleria, whose airy, sunlit views create a uniquely serene and uplifting setting for our patients awaiting treatment. But even more impressive is the care that went into the design of our four exam rooms, cutting-edge IVF embryology laboratory, cryogenic facilities for sperm, egg, and embryo freezing, and ambulatory surgical center, all of which are outfitted with the very latest technologies to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for our patients.

Our ambulatory surgical center has an operating room and three procedure rooms, in which hysteroscopies, polypectomies, and other out-patient surgeries can be performed using the same equipment and safeguards as found in the most modern hospital operating rooms. In order to maximize IVF results, the air quality in our new embryology laboratory is maintained by a hermetically sealed, pressurecontrolled filtration system. Before reaching the laboratory, air passes through layers of active carbon and potassium permanganate filters, removing 99.9% of particulate matter, including potentially toxic substances that could harm embryo development. Only a handful of IVF laboratories in the United States have such an advanced air filtration system.

Additionally, new equipment and procedures are in place to provide advanced IVF services, including ICSI, assisted hatching, blastomere biopsy, cryopreservation (sperm, eggs, and embryos), sperm separation for sex selection, and on-site blood hormone analysis.
